I was watching the morning news about Edwards Steak House in El Monte California, going out of business… It’s very sad to see small businesses failing and closing their doors, some because they lack proper marketing plans to keep customers, and add new ones.
I never ate at this steak house, or worked with the owners, like I said I just saw their story on the news. But I wanted to share my thoughts on this to maybe help another business, before it’s too late.
I know when I get the chance to talk with business owners, I find that most of them, are so busy running their businesses they lose site of the BIG Picture, and keep doing the same thing, over and over, like a horse with blinders on.
Only a couple of weeks ago, Christina Perri was serving coffee at Melrose Place Cafe in Los Angeles California, wondering when she’d get her big break. Thank to the speed of Social Media, Word Of Mouth… Today, she’s busy fielding media requests and answering stacks of fan mail.

Perri’s song Jar Of Hearts was featured on the June 30 show. The following morning, Christina topped Google Trends search matrix, followed by the other top Social Media sites around the Internet.
Since then, the track has sold over 100,000 downloads, according to Nielsen SoundScan, landing at No. 25 on… Click to Continue Reading→

Like everyone else I’ve been, working, playing, going through life, Good & Bad, which just points out, you need to have a mix of marketing working for you, pointing to that thing your trying to promote, sell, market, you get my point. Carl’s thing, happens to be Food, they want you to go to their restaurants and buy their food… pretty simple!
And even more simple of a concept – Market to where your customer are!
Carl’s has figured it out, their customers are moving from traditional places like, Newspaper, Radio and Television…

I was ask what Web 3.0 was all about today, so seeing as I’ve still got some awake left in me, after gulping down a huge Star Bucks Coffee and a 5-hour Energy Shot this afternoon, here’s something you can share about Web 3.0 and what came before and how we got here. . .

Web 2.0 – This is about people and their user-generated content and a read-write web. People have Blogs now and are consuming as well as contributing information through blogs or sites like Flickr, YouTube, Digg, etc. The line dividing a consumer and content publisher is increasingly Click to Continue Reading→
