Now if your thinking, I use Google’s Gmail all the time, why should I use Google Apps for my business?
If you use Google Gmail, that’s great and you will already be up to speed, when using Google Apps. . .
The BIG Differences are:
- You use your own domain name with Apps, so your email addresses look like this “bob@mydomain.com, instead of bob@gmail.com”.
- Google Apps has an Administrator Control Panel, which gives you control over your staff/employees emails and documents.
- More security control with guaranteed up-times.
Every morning, I get up and check my email, calendar, and update any spreadsheets or documents. . .
And now with my new Smart Phone, I can check my email and more throughout the day, without being tied to my office computer. I work in real-time with a client on documents, saving hours of time. And updates to my calendar are a breeze, giving me reminders of upcoming events throughout the day.
No worries either, because Google takes care of all the backups and upgrades on their end, leaving you more time for the important things in business.
Until next time,

PS. Keep and eye out for tips on using Google Apps, in future post.
